This experimental documentary follows the graduating Loyola University seniors through the trials and triumphs of creating their thesis films. Focusing more on three seniors, Miracle, Scarlett, and Christinia, Miracle brings to life a dream project conceived in her freshman year. Scarlett channels raw emotion from her personal experiences into a profoundly intimate piece. A sci-fi enthusiast, Christina crafts a groundbreaking story amplifying Black women’s representation in speculative fiction. Through these graduating class’s challenges with time, resources, and creativity, the film captures a love-hate relationship with the filmmaking process, showcasing the chaos, camaraderie, and resilience that define the journey of aspiring indie filmmakers.
